A Pendleton Heritage Collection Blanket that brings back
a previously issued design. Legend says that long ago when the earth was
covered with water, the birds saw Skywoman fall from the sky. They placed
her on the Turtle's back. There she planted a garden and as it grew, Turtle
grew in size, finally becoming North America. The original design of this
blanket dates back to the 1920's.
This blanket illustrates the geometric motifs and weaving
expertise that quickly became a Pendleton hallmark, and it features Pendleton's
unnapped finish.
